The late Constance Hunting founded the Maine based Puckerbrush Review literary magazine and the Puckerbrush Press. The Review is dedicated to showcasing Maine poets. Hunting was proactive in using art to work towards social justice. In 1983, her and Virgil Bisset put out the Puckerbrush Press title, In a Dark Time : an anthology of poetry of nuclear concern – which includes many anti-war and anti-injustice writings.
